At the heart of the design is an innovative glass roof with glass upstands, forming a striking glass box structure free of supports. Initially conceptualised with steel supports, we re-engineered the roof to span 2255mm using an all-glass solution. This design ensures it can safely bear the weight of a person for cleaning and withstand snow loads with minimal deflection, maintaining both structural integrity and safety.
