OVERVIEW

A sleek, black brick-clad extension

The Mews House project involved infilling the side return with a sleek, black brick-clad extension, harmonising with the geometric and material context of the Grade II listed building nearby.

Expansive glass panels flood the interior with natural light and offer seamless garden views. The extension encompasses a spacious kitchen, dining area, and utility room, facilitating the transformation of the old utility space into a new study.

Ground floor aesthetics feature a striking monochrome palette, enhanced by powder-coated metal cladding and a striking lava-polished mortar feature wall spanning the extension’s length, while preserving the original brick exterior wall as a nod to the property’s heritage.
